Treasure Chestnut is a plant in Plants vs. Zombies Online. It is the fifth plant obtained in the City of Atlantis, and is unlocked on Day 16. It shoots one of seven projectiles randomly. Each of the seven projectiles does a different thing, and is completely randomized to what shoots out.

Overview

Treasure Chestnut, contrary to the name, shoots out junk. There are seven possible outcomes, and as they get better in damage, they get rarer and harder to get. The least damaging is the pebble, which does light damage. The next most dangerous is the can, which does normal damage. The fish bones do moderate damage. The boot does heavy damage. The tire does moderate damage but bounces off three zombies. The dinosaur bones to heavy damage in a 1x3 area, and the RV does massive damage to one tile. Sometimes it may shoot out treasure like silver or gold coins, and very rarely, diamonds.

Treasure Chestnut is always fishing for the big catches. His dream is to someday catch the fabled Loch Ness Fish, and become the headline of the Plants Daily. As he waits, he thinks he sees another legendary beast. One he could only describe as...the Gobblewonker...

Plant Food Effect

Shoots all zombies with one possible outcome. The RV is never possible for this.

Trivia

  • It is based off of the Trashure from Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
  • It's almanac entry references the Gobblewonker from the TV show, Gravity Falls.
